The Birches of Weston

A Northland Residential Corporation project, the Birches is an example of a single family residential high end suburban cluster plan land development. The land planners mitigated the impact of road and home construction using a variety of planning and design techniques. Road slopes were minimized to reduce the amount of cuts and fills, thereby decreasing the tree clearing. Design review covenants were included within the closing documentation mandating building envelopes for the homes, and defining acceptable architectural guidelines for the home designs, including massing, size, style, materials and detailing. The project team included Metro West Engineering, O’Brien and Sons Site Contractors.
