Landmark at Fall River
Fall River, Massachusetts
The Landmark at Fall River is the restoration of a Days Inn located within the City of Fall Rivers Central Business District. The project was designed to contain construction and development costs to facilitate the delivery of an affordable assisted living residence for seniors. The exterior of the project was upgraded and restored. The interior design utilized the existing room sizes and common areas to minimize the restoration scope of work. Debt financing was secured through Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency’s Elder Choice Program coupled with City of Fall River Home Funds. Equity was raised through the syndication of low income tax credits purchased by Chevron. The project team included EHA Architects, Plumbhouse Construction, Rene Megnier Structural Engineers, Lubershcane Associates and Commonweal Collaborative.
