Squam Adaptive Watersports Back to All Projects

Squam adaptive sports provides waterskiing and wakeboarding to all ages and levels of disability. Since beginning in the summer of 2006, we’ve pulled hundreds of new skiers.

We work in conjunction with  the Stoppes Family, New England Disabled Sports, Ability Plus, and Adaptive Sports Partners to give people with all types of disabilities a chance to get out on the water to ski or wakeboard.

The program takes place on Thursday afternoons from 2pm until dusk, on little Squam Lake, leaving from Riveredge Marina.

Spaces are limited, so please call in advance to reserve a space if you or someone you know would like to participate. Volunteer help is always welcome also, and there’s no better way to spend a summer afternoon than out on the lake.

For more information, call Riveredge Marina at (603) 968-4411.
