Spectacle Pond Camp – Circle Program
Groton, New Hampshire
The Circle Program is an independent non-profit organization, also belonging to the Lakes Region United Way and Upper Valley United Way. The Circle Program provides at-risk adolescent New Hampshire girls with year round mentors and a residential camp experience. The Spectacle Pond camp is comprised of residential cabins, a lodge, a cafeteria building, an infirmary all situated along a hillside with water frontage on Spectacle Pond in Groton, New Hampshire. The camp buildings are post and beam structures designed to reflect the lake side architecture of the lakes region. Construction of the camp commenced in 2004 and is expected to be completed in the late spring of 2005. The project team includes Conneston Construction Corporation CCI, Andrews Site Contractors and Mudge Architects.
