Squam River
Landing involves the re-development of River Edge Marina located on Little Squam
Lake and the Squam River in Ashland, New Hampshire. The existing marina will be
renovated to include a boat club for 100 members, and the marina operations will
be upgraded to accommodate the needs of the boat club members. 70 acres of adjacent
raw land will become a low density, cluster planned, four season community with
a common area clubhouse, horse paddocks, tennis courts, cross country skiing,
and hiking. The property is
located in the heart of New Hampshire’s lake region and White Mountains.
The property offers exceptional views of Squam Lake, the Squam River and several
mountain ranges. Snow skiing is available within ½ hour at Loon, Waterville,
Cannon
and Tenney Mountains. Several golf clubs are within a short driving distance.
The project is currently pursuing state and local approvals. The sales cycle is
expected to commence in the fall of 2005. The project team includes David Driscoll
Architects, Jack McCormack, Esq., Coldwell Banker, and Commonweal Collaborative.
